Tracking Systems<\/strong><\/p>\nTracking devices are the best method. Even if your caravan is stolen there is a greater chance you will get it back. It works through GPS and enables the tracking system company to track down the movements of the caravan. Look for ones with battery back-up as people often forget to charge their batteries on these.<\/p>\n

Can thieves jam the alarms?<\/strong><\/p>\nYes, it is always possible they could use a jammer if the alarm is wireless. If you want to be extra secure, look at wired alarms.<\/p>\n
How long do batteries last in these alarms?<\/strong><\/p>\nChange them regularly. I recommend changing them every 6 months. Batteries are cheap compared to your caravan and its contents.<\/p>\n
