Caravans are not always the easiest thing to make level. However, over time people have come up with their own solutions. For example, using a concrete paving slab or precariously lodged pieces of wood have also acted as a solution.

Here’s how to operate a very simple but effective caravan leveller:
Using with a Single axle caravan
- Line the bag up so that the caravan is ready to reverse onto it.
- Roll your caravan onto the locknlevel bag, ensuring that the tyre is within the markers.
- Level the front to back using a jockey wheel. Inflate the bag. The bag will raise your caravan up by as much as six inches.
- You can fit the wheel lock now.
- When you’re ready to move on simply deflate the bags and roll the wheel away from it.
Using with a twin-axle caravan
- Line the bag up so that the caravan is ready to reverse onto it.
- Roll your caravan onto the locknlevel bag, ensuring that the tyres are within the markers.
- Inflate both bags at the same time. The bag will raise your caravan up by as much as six inches.
- You can fit the wheel locks now.
- When you’re ready to move on simply deflate the bags and roll the wheels away from them.
Please make sure you check that the caravan is level by using a spirit level. If the wheels are too high you can always deflate the locknlevel. Please note, if you have a twin-axle you will be deflating both bags at the same time.
Your spirit level will indicate when the caravan is level. You can then stop deflating the bag or bags.
